Blackboard Resources for Program Success

The School of Applied Sciences graduate programs provide their students with program specific resources to facilitate success. Students can find these resources by visiting the “Organizations” tab on Blackboard. For more information or questions, contact your academic advisor.

Bursar

The Office of the Bursar manages student accounts, assesses tuition and fees, provides monthly billing statements, and processes payments and refunds.

Counseling Center

The University Counseling Center consists of a team of dedicated professionals who strive to offer the best care possible in an atmosphere of respect. Services are in accordance with the legal limits of confidentiality prescribed by the state of Mississippi and with the direction of the codes of ethics of the American Counseling Association, American Psychological Association, and National Association of Social Workers.

Writing Center

The goal of the Graduate Writing Center (GWC) is to provide free consultations to help graduate students produce successful academic writing by further developing effective writing skills. The GWC encourage writers from any discipline or department to seek assistance with any stage of the writing process: from conception to composition to revision, from first to final draft. The GWC helps writers develop strategies to improve their own writing.
